HCR Tour Blog - Monday Oct. 25th "Empire State, of MINE"

Location: New York City, NY

The big city they call it. And yes, its huge. In a really "i have no idea how to get anywhere" sort of way. But thanks to technology, i'm able to navigate my way through these crowded streets and alleys of disarray, and arrive at my desired destination. Generally somewhere along the lines of Broadway and Broom streets… a fashion district, and the best in my opinion. A full on plethora of the best shops, G-Star, Diesel, Top Shop, H&M, among so many others.

Today though was a brief shopping experience, as we were performing at the Bowery Ballroom this evening. The weather was oddly warm for this time of year, and so comfortable. 70 degrees, with a beautiful line of anxious fans in line to enter the venue. I talked to a handful of them early on during load in. It's always so inspiring and humbling to meet the person who arrived to the venue at 10 am before ANYONE (including us) arrives, so that he/she can be in the front row of that stage. They are why we can do what we do. They buy our records, they buy our merchandise, they tell all their friends, and they truly love music. They are something to admire.

The show was so much fun, in fact it was my favorite of the tour thus far. A really positive energy in the room with good friends, fans and tour mates. Our lives are way too good to us. New York has so much to offer, and it never lets me down. I cherish it. It's the Empire State of MINE ;)

Yes, NYC is definitely a great city tour in... I was one of the fans he meet way before they got on stage and they are so friendly. If you are thinking about seeing HCR u should definitely come and see them perform. They blow my mind... and were the best of the night. Not that I was surprised because their album is just awesome. But u can't beat seeing them live and they give their fans attention too after the show. Not a lot of bands do that. You can come and talk to them and they interact throughout the whole concert. You can tell they love their fans and we should keep supporting and spreading the word.
