Why I'm a Fan
I fell in love with HCR in Nashville, Tn on April 19,2010. I received Owl City concert tickets for Vday. I was so excited. We got 2 the War Memorial Auditorium downtown around 8 am the show didnt start till 6:30pm. My friends and I were in the very front. The front doors of the building are old and there is glass and a wooden criss-cross pattern over the glass. My face was pressed against the glass from the time i got there until they opened the doors at exactly 6:37pm. the security guards opened the doors and i ran as fast as i could with my arm in the air so the guard could see my wrist band. i was in the very front. I had no idea that owl city would have any opening acts. We waited 4 what seemed 4ever then Ian Keaggy stepped onto the stage. I screamed and reached 4 him. Then came Jamie, Nash, and last but not least RK. Ian was directly infront of me. They played their 1st song and i 4got owl city. all i could think about is how good ian looked in his sleeveless shirt.lol they played all their songs and as ian was about 2 walk of the stage he waved at me and smiled and he reached out and touched my hand!!!!! i dont feel qualified to critique artists music because i know how hard they work but the 2nd opening act "paper route" could never in a million years compare to hcr. Then owl city came out and it was amazing and the violin player is my long lost twin. we look exactly alike except i have blonde hair and she has brownish-red hair. after the concert, i got my pic taken with RK and Ian!!!!!!! when ian put his arm around me for our pic i almost passed out!!! i know this sounds dorky, but when we finished takin our pic, and he turned away the place where his arm was went completely numb. well this is how i was introduced to hcr. I love their music i can really relate 2 the lyrics plus they are gorgeous especially ian!!!! and i love RKs tattoo the words are so inspiring. i absolutely love hcr and i have already introduced all of my friends 2 their music.
