Why I'm a Fan
I had heard the song Bleed before, but I could never remember who it was by, so I just gave up on it and forgot about it. Then, this summer, when Tonight Tonight came out, I thought to myself, "Oh my god, I love this!!" So I went on youtube and listened to all of the other songs, including Bleed. I became completely addicted to every last one of them. I'm pretty sure my dad was about ready to ban me from YouTube because I would only ever play Hot Chelle Rae. When I heard that they were going to be in St. Pete, I was ecstatic, but didn't get the chance to go. When I got back to WI and was informed that they were going to be in Stevens Point, I was NOT going to miss out. I ended up being in the front row, two inches from the speaker, and about a foot from Nash. Afterwards, I got my ticket autographed, a picture with them, a CD, and a bracelet that reads "Hot Chelle Rae Whatever."
I'm a HCR fan because, unlike some other bands, they're all really down to earth and they care about their fans. Their music is, for the most part, upbeat and fun, but they also have some slower, more meaningful songs that people can totally relate to. In summary, they're just good, fun people that love to make music...and rock at it too.
